This THP is about 12 miles NW of Willits, CA and a couple miles north of the Skunk Train line. The plan area is located near Marble Creek, a tributary of the North Fork Noyo River at an elevation of 400 to 1,680 feet. The Noyo River is listed as “impaired” for sediment and temperature and this THP is in an area that has seen a lot of logging over the years. This THP contains a high number of road failure sites, and due to the steep slopes and abundant landslide terrain, there are over 64 road drainage work sites planned because of potential sediment issues. More information is available on the THP Tracking Center website.
